Many people probably think the Koran is just another religious book similar to the Bible, the Book of Mormon and the Torah. This site focusses on two important aspects of the Koran, which makes it different from other religious texts. First: throughout the Koran a couple of themes are repeated over and over. Second: the Koran is meant to be recited. Everybody can see this and imagine what the effect will be. You don't need an expert, you can use your common sense and draw your own conclusions. Claims which essentially say you don't understand or misinterpret the texts are beside the point. The issue here is not about theological content and whether you properly understand it or not is unimportant. It is about what you think the effect is likely to be when one recites this on a regular basis. You yourself are an expert in this matter.
